We are pleased to inform you that the OECD Internship Programme 2025 (Round 1) is now open for applications, and we invite you to begin your internal pre-selection process.
The Internship Programme is an opportunity for qualified and motivated students from diverse backgrounds to join the OECD and work on projects related to their field of study. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, allowing students to apply throughout the year. This flexibility enables you to complete your internal pre-selection process at your convenience, without adhering to a specific deadline.
We invite you to identify up to 15 qualified candidates, as these students will have higher chances of being selected for an internship at the OECD.
Process
- Identify up to 15 qualified candidates enrolled at your Institution and submit their names and email addresses by filling out this online form.
- Share the Partner Institution Vacancy link with pre-selected students, instructing them to apply using the same name and email as indicated in the online form.
- Profiles of pre-selected students will be shared across all OECD Directorates.
- Based on students’ availability and the needs of the hiring teams, students may be contacted for an interview or written test by the hiring team.
Minimum requirements
- Be enrolled in a full-time degree programme for the duration of the internship in a field or discipline related to the work of the OECD.
- Be proficient in English and/or French.
- Be available for a minimum period of one month on a full-time basis (40h per week). The internship duration is limited to six months with a possibility of extension up to a maximum of twelve months.
Tips for screening
- To increase the chances of your students being invited for interviews, we recommend giving priority to Master’s or PhD level students.
- Some hiring managers are particularly interested in students with academic or professional backgrounds in Computer Science, Human Resources, Finance, Communication and Graphic Design, and Event Management. Bachelor’s candidates with these profiles may also be considered.
- We strongly encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply. Please note that internships are primarily open to nationals of OECD Member countries, so we recommend prioritizing students who meet this criterion.
Important note
- Please ask pre-selected students not to apply to the OECD General internship vacancy advertised on our website. Their profiles will only be considered through the Partner Institution vacancy. Only students who are not pre-selected should apply to the General vacancy.
- OECD Directorates have the flexibility to on-board interns both in-person and remotely. We currently work in a hybrid mode, so while in-person presence is generally required, occasional teleworking is available to interns. The specific working arrangements will be agreed upon between the Directorate and the student, with the possibility of fully remote work if mutually agreed with the hiring team.
- Please note that, as in the past, we cannot guarantee that internships will be offered to all students from your university.
Webinar on application and selection process
We will be hosting a webinar on application writing and preparation for the selection process for students interested in the OECD Internship Programme, including those who have been pre-selected. The webinar will take place on 14 April 2025 at 14:00 (Paris time). Interested students can register here.
