SUA is the third most sought-after university in Slovakia in terms of companies' interest in graduates

Graduates of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra increasingly in demand by employers.
Employers are showing strong and growing interest in graduates of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA), as confirmed by the university’s latest placement in the TOP 3 most attractive Slovak universities for employers. The ranking, compiled by Slovakia’s largest job portal Profesia.sk, evaluates the attractiveness of graduates from public universities.
In the 2024 ranking, SUA claimed third place, climbing two spots from its 2023 position. The previous year, it had already advanced by three positions—indicating a consistent and significant increase in demand for its graduates.
Among individual university faculties across Slovakia, SUA’s Faculty of Engineering performed particularly well, ranking sixth overall, an improvement of three places from the previous ranking. The Faculty of Economics and Management also made a remarkable leap, becoming the tenth most attractive faculty for employers—surging forward by 13 places.
When it comes to academic fields, the labor market shows the highest demand for graduates in mechanical engineering, construction, IT, technology, and economics.
The analysis is based on data from 18,500 CVs submitted by recent graduates and provides valuable insight to young people considering their future study paths. The ranking reflects how many times companies viewed graduates’ CVs in 2024, offering a clear indicator of market interest.
