Kazakh University Awarded prof. Peter Bielik Title Honorary Professor

Kazakh National Agricultural University in Almaty awarded the Rector of the SUA in Nitra Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., with title of Honorary Professor. The ceremony took place on 18th June 2018 and our rector received the diploma from the vice-rector of the Kazakh University prof. Tireuov Kanata Maratovich.

Students of the Faculty of Economics and Management of SUA in Nitra, who are currently participating at the summer school “Green Economy” in KAZNAU, attended the ceremony as well.
Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra has been cooperating with Kazakh National Agrarian University (KAZNAU) in Almaty for several years. In 2011, as a result of initiative of KAZNAU and University of Wageningen in the Netherlands, an international scientific-academic consortium of collaborating universities was created, including SUA in Nitra. In 2013, KAZNAU was accepted as a member of the Visegrad University Association. KAZNAU annually organizes a summer school focused on various areas related to the agrarian sector: water resource management, green economy, veterinary innovative technologies and techniques in agriculture, biotechnology and food safety that is regularly attended by students of the Faculty of Economics and Management of SUA in Nitra.
