INVEST Winter School 2023

On Wednesday, October 11 and Thursday, October 12, 2023, the individual activities of the INVEST winter school took place in the properties of Van Haal Larenstien University in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.
Both days were divided into a forenoon part, where through lectures, the participants of the winter school received additional useful information from the field of "Nature Inclusive Agriculture" from several points of view, which will help them expand their knowledge from another perspective. After lunch, they had a program oriented to a tour of the university and the spaces that the campus offers, as well as to work in groups. The group content of the work was solutions to assigned tasks, which they will present.
On Friday, they went to the excursion again, it started with a morning visit to the SPNA Agricultural research center combined with a lecture on their focus and research. In the afternoon, participants of the INVEST winter school completed an excursion to an ecological and biodynamic farm. The presentation of farming methods aimed at being as close as possible to nature and ecological trends was also included.
In addition to finishing group work on the main task, Saturday and Sunday were also dedicated to freer activities.
