14.03.2025
The Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development (FESRD) at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra is introducing a new professionally oriented study programme called Local Development Management, and applications are now open.
This unique programme focuses on local development, addressing real-world challenges faced by cities and municipalities. It goes beyond theory, offering students hands-on experience through collaborations with institutions, preparing them for careers in public administration, local development, or business.
Students will gain knowledge about how local governments and economies function, strategies for developing cities and rural areas, and key aspects of socio-economic growth. A special advantage of this programme is its practical approach, where students will work directly with experts, engage in real projects, and gain a firsthand perspective on local development management.
This full-time bachelor's programme will begin in the 2025/2026 academic year. The first application deadline is April 30, 2025, and the second round closes on July 15, 2025. More details, including study options at FESRD and SUA, can be found at www.studuj.eu and www.podnazelenu.sk. This is a great opportunity for students who want to contribute to the development of their communities and build a career in a dynamic and impactful field.
