SUA Rector awarded the best students for 2023
28.11.2024On November 25, twelve students received an award from the Rector of Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Klaudia Halászová, which she traditionally awards on the occasion of International Students' Day. The deans of the faculties also attended the ceremony.
At the suggestion of the faculties, the Rector awarded the award to students who have achieved excellent academic results during their studies so far, for their work in scientific research and professional activities, as well as for representing the university in the field of sports or culture. This year, twelve students received the Rector's Award.
In her speech, the Rector recalled the significance and message of November 17 for today's students and congratulated the awardees on their successes during their studies so far. "We value every conscious student, because your suggestions and observations are very important for improving the quality of our work," said K. Halászová. At the same time, she encouraged the awarded students to be ambassadors who share their experiences with other classmates. This can motivate them to participate in activities and present the university in the best light.
In an informal debate, the awardees expressed their opinions on the organization of events for students, foreign mobility, and student involvement in various initiatives, including the activities of academic senates.
