FAST-GROWING TREES AND PLANTS GROWING FOR ENERGY PURPOSES
26.08.2024Institute of Law and Sustainable Development under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development at the Slovak University of Agriculture and Visegrad Grants ID #22310328 cordially invite you to the 6th International Scientific Conference FAST-GROWING TREES AND PLANTS GROWING FOR ENERGY PURPOSES (Theory and good practices of growing and energy use of biomass) September 5–6th 2024 in Nitra, RC Agrobiotech
The aim of the international conference is to present a comprehensive view on the importance of biomass for its sustainable energy use. Results obtained from the studying functional processes that are responsible for the production potential of energy trees and plants under specific agro-environmental conditions will be presented. Another objective is to point to "good practice" experiences of growing and environmental impact of energy crops. Innovative EU strategies related to the circular economy in terms of applied bioenergy research focused on the latest trends in biochemical and thermochemical conversion of biomass to biofuels with higher energy density will be also discussed. The Conference is intended for university educators, researchers, practitioners, PhD. students and the scientific public.
